The 2013 Markham Village Music Festival
presented by Enbridge
will be held June 13, 14 & 15

Music and Entertainment for all ages

From rock and roll to classical, from country to hip hop, you’ll find a sound to please your ears. As well as music, the Markham Village Music Festival features amateur and professional entertainers from Markham, York Region and the GTA. See dancers, jugglers, clowns and much more! Check out the entertainment page for the latest news. Visit our YouTube page and see our latest video, or become a fan on our Facebook page or visit both!

Friday 6 pm - 10:30 pm and Saturday 9 am - 6 pm (Saturday entertainment starts at 10 am)

Arts and Crafts local and international

You'll find great crafts and art, produced by local artists and artisans, and from around the world. Paintings and sculptures, to flower pots and jewellery. Each year brings new artistic delights for your enjoyment. See who's here this year on the Crafts page.

As always, entry is FREE!

That's right, we've again managed to keep the festival absolutely free. No admission charge thanks to the Main Street merchants and professionals, the contributors to our Silent Auction and our generous Sponsors.

Volunteers Needed!

By volunteering with the Festival, you get to meet some of the most active people in your community. Don’t be shy, we want and need your participation. If you are a student, this is a great way to serve some of your 40-hours of community volunteer time.

Friday night is a special night

The Festival starts Friday night at 6 pm with The Taste of Markham, a cultural celebration. Join your neighbours and come for dinner and sample cuisine from around the world. Be entertained by the many diverse cultural communities including Chinese, Indian, Caribbean, Macedonian and many more. Rest for a while at one of the pubs or restaurants on Main Street. Shop till you drop at the international craft booths or visit one of the retail businesses that have Festival Specials for the weekend. Then finish the evening off with a selection of three great bands.
