Markham Village Business Improvement Area (BIA)

The businesses belonging to the BIA pay a special, extra tax which they invest in the Village. They decorate the street with flower boxes and host two of their own street festivals, as well as financially support other events, like the Music Festival.

Markham Arts Council

Supporting the arts in all its forms in the Town of Markham, the Markham Arts Council provides members with a quarterly Arts Newsletter, annual Photo Contest, annual Gala showcasing members of the Arts Council and an Arts Directory. Their website provides a complete Calendar of Events for Markham.
